Our Heritage, Our Future

F.I.A serves the interests of Fiji Indians, friends and associates living in New Zealand. We are a non-profit, non-sectarian Society fostering harmonious relationships across our communities in Wellington and beyond — through cultural, social, economic, educational, sporting and charitable activities, and by standing with our members and with Fiji itself in times of need.

From Nadi to Nausori to Naenae, we carry our roots with us. Kana time, kava time, Soccer on the weekend — talanoa over a cuppa, chalo, let's build a home away from home, one event at a time.

Our Values

What holds our parivar together

Sanskriti

Culture — Diwali, Holi, Fiji Day, kept alive, not just remembered.

Seva

Service — looking after our own, and our neighbours.

Ekta

Unity — one parivar, many stories.

Whanau

Because in Aotearoa, that's what we've become too.

Why Join Us

Chalo, no more sitting on the fence — here's what being part of the parivar actually gets you.

First to know via Notices — no more finding out about events after they've happened.
Know more about our community through Diwali Mela, Hungama Night, community events, and much more.
A support network when times get hard — sickness, loss, or just needing a solid parivar.
